Getting Started
Welcome to Bankors
Bankors is the enterprise banking automation platform that connects your ERP directly to your banks. This guide walks you through setup and the first things to do — you'll be issuing Letters of Credit, Guarantees, loans and bank facilities, with automatic Oracle Fusion posting, in a single afternoon.
Before you begin
- An Oracle Fusion ERP environment with REST access (optional but recommended)
- Your bank list, including issuing banks for LCs and LGs
- Your chart of accounts and ledger structure
- An admin user in Bankors
Step 1 — Connect Oracle Fusion
Open Settings → Integrations and add your Oracle Fusion connection. Once connected, journal entries from Bankors will post directly to your General Ledger. See the Oracle Fusion integration guide for full details.
Step 2 — Configure banks and facilities
Add the banks you work with and set up the credit facilities and sub-limits for each one. This unlocks utilization tracking across LCs, LGs and loans. See the Loans & Facilities guide.
Step 3 — Map your accounts
Map each instrument type (LC, LG, loan, facility, fee, VAT, margin) to its target accounts in your Oracle Fusion chart of accounts. This is the only setup needed for automatic posting.
Step 4 — Issue your first Letter of Credit
Create a new LC with applicant, beneficiary, issuing bank and contract details. Preview the calculated charges, VAT and journal entry — then confirm issuance. The entry posts to Oracle Fusion automatically. Walkthrough: Letter of Credit guide.
Step 5 — Issue your first Letter of Guarantee
Same flow for LGs: capture details, preview, post. See the Letter of Guarantee guide.
